At Christ Church Galkissa, our Senior Citizens group, affectionately known as the Evergreens, stands as a testament to the power of community and enduring faith. What began in 1999 as a vision for a small gathering of seniors has blossomed into a vibrant pillar of our parish.
Today, the Evergreens boast nearly 35 active members, including a growing number of "brave men" who have joined our ranks, making our fellowship more diverse and dynamic than ever.
A Mission of Connection and Care: Our group isn’t just about looking back; it’s about being a present source of strength. We strive to be respectable elders whom others can turn to for:
- Companionship to ease the weight of loneliness.
- Solace during times of trouble.
- Practical Help that only those with the wisdom of years can truly provide.
Our contribution to initiatives such as the Auburn Fair serves as a proud testimony to the vital role we play within the community and beyond..
