The Worship Ministry

Vision Statement

To cultivate a Christ-centered worship community where believers from different languages and backgrounds unite to glorify God through music, fellowship, and service. Our vision is to raise worshippers who grow spiritually, encourage one another, and use their musical gifts to reflect God’s love, living out the call of Scripture: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord” (Book of Psalms 150:6).

Mission Statement

To provide a welcoming and spiritually enriching environment where the English, Sinhala, and Tamil Choirs together with the Praise & Worship Team lead the congregation in worship, develop musical gifts, and strengthen unity in the church. Through worship, learning, and fellowship we seek to encourage the church to “sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God” (Book of Colossians 3:16).

The Worship Ministry

The Worship Ministry consists of four ministries that serve the church through music and worship leadership: the English Choir, Sinhala Choir, Tamil Choir, and the Praise & Worship Team. Together they lead worship across multiple services and languages, reflecting the diversity and unity of the church community.
Throughout the year, these ministries come together for major church celebrations such as the Church Anniversary Service, Harvest Festival Service, and the trilingual Carol Service, where the choirs combine to offer worship in multiple languages.
Beyond weekly services, the ministry also participates in special church programs, outreach events, and community gatherings, contributing to the spiritual life and fellowship of the church.
